For the life you're living now

In their words

Six things I hear early in the work.

“I work so hard for something. When I finally get it, I'm already thinking about what's next.”
“I can do a hundred things right and still beat myself up over the one thing I got wrong.”
“My mind never really shuts off, even when there's nothing I need to do.”
“I know I'm pushing myself too hard. I just don't know how else to operate.”
“I'm sitting right there with my family, but I'm not actually there.”
“I'm so used to doing what everyone needs from me, I don't even know what I want anymore.”

The cost of staying the same

What happens if nothing changes?

Nothing has to fall apart for this to cost you. You can keep doing well, taking care of everyone, and meeting your responsibilities while the parts of life that matter most slowly get less of you.

01 / Your Marriage

The distance grows, even while you're doing everything right.

You provide. You show up. You handle what needs to be done. But by the time you get home, there's not much left of you. Conversations become about schedules, the kids, and tomorrow. Over time, the distance can start to feel normal.

02 / Your Children

You repeat patterns you promised yourself you'd break.

You wanted to be more patient, more present, more understanding. Then you hear yourself snapping over something small, or realize you've spent another evening with your kids while your mind was somewhere else. The years when they're young don't come back.

03 / Your Success

The finish line keeps moving.

You reach the goal. Get the promotion. Grow the business. For a moment, it feels good. Then you're already thinking about what comes next. Five years from now, you could have achieved even more and still feel the same pressure.

04 / Your Future

The life you want keeps getting pushed to another day.

There's a decision you've been avoiding. A conversation you keep putting off. A change you tell yourself you'll make when the timing is better. A year passes. Then another. You keep waiting to feel ready.

The real cost isn't just how much pressure you're carrying today. It's how much of your life you could spend living this way.

What becomes possible

What if you could enjoy the life you've worked so hard to build?

You don't have to give up your ambition. You change how you relate to yourself while you keep building a life that matters to you.

01

Enjoy what you've earned.

Reach a goal and let yourself feel good about it, without immediately searching for what's missing.

02

Be there when you're home.

Listen, laugh, and connect with your partner and kids instead of bringing the whole day home in your head.

03

Feel at ease with yourself.

Rest without guilt. Make a mistake without tearing yourself apart. Feel more settled in your body.

04

Make choices that are yours.

Have the hard conversation. Make the move. Notice when fear or approval is making the decision for you.

You can still be driven. Still build. Still achieve. But your achievements no longer have to decide how you feel about yourself.

Why the pressure keeps coming back

Who did you learn you had to be?

Long before you had a career, a business, or people depending on you, you were learning what made you feel valued.

Maybe it was getting good grades. Becoming the doctor, the engineer, the one who made the sacrifice worth it. Being responsible. Keeping everyone happy. Never disappointing your family.

Those lessons may have helped you become the capable person you are today. But when your sense of worth becomes tied to what you do for others or how much you achieve, it can feel like you have to keep earning it.

You can spend your whole life trying to prove something that another achievement will never settle.

The rules we carry

Be successful.

Don't make mistakes.

Take care of everyone.

Make them proud.

Don't disappoint people.

Keep pushing.

How we do the work

Knowing why you do it doesn't mean you know how to stop.

You can understand a pattern and still fall into it when a conversation gets tense, a choice feels risky, or you worry about letting someone down.

That's because the reaction starts in your body before you've had a chance to think. The tight chest before a hard conversation. The knot in your stomach when your dad calls. The jaw you didn't notice you were clenching. Most of what you've tried works on your thinking. We work where the reaction actually starts.

01 / NOTICE

See the pattern as it happens.

We slow down and pay attention to what's happening in your thoughts, emotions, and body, especially right before an old reaction takes over.

02 / UNDERSTAND

Get to know what's driving it.

We explore what that reaction may have protected you from, what you've learned to believe, and what comes up when you try something different.

03 / CHOOSE

Practice a different response.

We bring the work into real life: the meeting, the family conversation, the decision you've delayed. Small choices you can return to when it matters.

A different kind of support

You're used to being the one everyone counts on. Who do you turn to?

Our sessions are a private place to say what's really going on. You don't have to perform, have the answer, or manage my reaction.

I'll listen. I'll ask questions. And when I notice a familiar pattern happening in our conversation, I'll help you slow down and see it. Not to judge you. So you have more room to choose what happens next.

Real people. Real changes.

The work is personal. The changes show up in real life.

These are people with careers, families, businesses, and responsibilities. Here's what changed.

Danny W.
Physician · Father of Two

He finally made the decision he'd been putting off.

Danny had been weighing what to do with his medical practice for a long time. Through our work, he found the clarity to move forward. He sold his practice and took a role at a local hospital. But when he describes what's changed, he talks about his wife and kids, too.

“I had been sitting on the decision about my practice for a long time. Through this work, I got clear enough to finally make the move. I sold my practice, took a role at my local hospital, and I'm in the strongest financial position I've ever been in.

But what changed goes far beyond my career. I'm closer to my wife and more connected to my two kids than I ever have been.”
Kelsey W.
Healthcare Manager

She stopped thinking more discipline was the answer.

Kelsey was doing well on paper but felt worn down, numb and constantly overwhelmed. She didn't expect self-compassion to change anything at work. It changed how she leads.

“Now I feel fulfilled and successful, which I didn't know could coexist. I was able to actually take in constructive criticism at work without shutting down, and truly apply it, which made me better at what I do and turned me into a leader.

I was skeptical that self compassion would do anything for my work materially, as opposed to just more discipline, but it has been the missing piece.”
Shival P.
Founder

He stopped trying to think his way through everything.

As a deeply analytical person, Shival was used to explaining away what he felt and pushing through. Listening to his body felt foreign at first. As he learned to pause and notice his reactions, he began to experience everyday life differently.

“I'm far less reactive than I used to be. I give myself more grace, and I'm much more aware of what I'm feeling and why. That has changed the way I show up in my work, my relationships, and my life generally.”
Shannon M.
Founder
“I feel a greater sense of intimacy and connection to myself and with my partner.”
On noticing habitual patterns and finding more room to choose how she responds.

Every client's twelve weeks look different. These are their words, shared with permission.

Meet Russell Khan

I know this world from both sides.

I understand ambition. I also know what it feels like when the pressure never lets up.

Russell Khan smiling mid-conversation in a café

I grew up the middle kid in a Bengali household. Before coaching, I built two businesses and worked in senior strategy roles, including as Director of Strategy, Commerce at VaynerMedia.

I knew how to solve problems, work hard, and carry responsibility. I also knew what it felt like to be constantly wound up, with stress living in my body even when the workday was over.

I was skeptical of inner work at first. I was used to thinking my way through everything. Over time, I began to see how many of my choices and reactions were shaped by patterns I'd learned long before I became an adult.

Mindset work helped me understand my patterns. What actually changed them was learning to work with my body, in the moment the old reaction kicked in. That's the work I bring to clients now.

Today, I bring both worlds into my coaching. We can talk about the real decision in front of you, and also work with the pressure, reactions, or old beliefs that make it hard to move forward.

Business + leadershipI've built businesses and led teams. I know the pressure you're under, because I've worked inside it.

The private engagement

A lot changes in twelve weeks.

This isn't another set of goals to achieve. It's a private coaching relationship built around what's happening in your life, with room to explore the deeper patterns behind it.

01
A dedicated hour together, each week

Twelve private, 60-minute sessions focused on your decisions, relationships, reactions, and the changes you want to make.

02
Text and email access between sessions

Reach out with questions or reflections as you practice the work in daily life. We'll agree on response expectations before we begin.

03
Guided practice between conversations

Simple exercises and reflection tools to help you slow down, notice old reactions, and practice different choices between sessions.

04
A personal plan, applied to real life

We identify the pattern, work with what happens in the moment, and revisit what changes between sessions. The focus fits your life, but the process stays intentional.

A few things you might be wondering

It's okay to have questions.

I've never worked with a coach. What should I expect?

You don't need to know how coaching works or have the perfect words for what you're dealing with. We start with what's happening in your life. I help you slow down, notice the patterns involved, and begin practicing different responses.

Is this therapy?

No. This is private coaching, not mental health treatment. We focus on patterns, awareness, decisions, and how you want to live. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Coaching can complement care from a licensed therapist when appropriate.

Will I have to talk about my childhood?

No. You decide what you're ready to share. We may explore earlier experiences when they're relevant, but we're not digging into the past for its own sake. We work at a pace you can handle.

What if I've already done a lot of work on myself?

Many people understand their patterns very well but still repeat them in real situations. Our work focuses on noticing those moments as they happen, relating differently to what comes up, and practicing different choices outside our sessions.

Can 12 weeks really make a difference?

Yes. A lot changes in twelve weeks. Clients make the decision they've put off for years, have the conversation they've been avoiding, and feel the difference at work and at home. Danny sold his practice and got closer to his family. Kelsey stopped shutting down under criticism and stepped into leadership. The patterns took decades to build. They don't take decades to change.

What happens on the first call?

You'll answer five short questions when scheduling. We'll talk about what's happening, what you want to change, and what you've tried. You'll have room to ask questions and decide whether the work feels right for you. There's no obligation to enroll.

A different way forward

You can keep building without spending your life trying to prove you're enough.

You've worked hard to get where you are. If you're ready for a different relationship with yourself and the life you're living, I'd welcome a conversation.
